Pharmacological effects: Anthelmintics. Albendazole with a broad-spectrum insecticide function for nematode, also sensitive for tapeworms and flukes. Its mechanism is through a combination of nematode β-tubulin organization，hinder α-tubulin organization composed microtubules, thus affecting nematode mitosis, protein and energy metabolism assembly process of reproduction. This product has strong power not only for mature worms, immature worms and larvae, also for worm eggs. Albendazole nematode tubulin affinity is significantly higher than the mammalian tubulin, and therefore has slightly toxicity to mammals
